I was wondering wether anyone knows of a sponge filter end that would fit my fluval 205 filter pipes

Thanks Sarah xx

I bet a replacement element for an air filter would fit :good:

what would be the point of this?

Usually sponges that fit on the filter intake have a higher PPI (poer pre inch) than the coarse foam inside the filter. Which means that the foam inside the filter would be doing nothing besides looking ugly.

Not so... the sponge would populate (could be used as a cycle for another tank) or my guess, its to stop fry being minced

yes Rooster to stop fry getting minced lmao
I've not got them at the moment but my Limias are pregnant and look likely to drop their fry in about 2 weeks or so and seeing as they only have a maximum of 20 fry i dont really want any to get minced lmao

Like the idea of the replacement elemant for an air filter will have a look for one of them . thanks again
