Split fins question

My friend is worried about her betta. He is not lethargic, he is eating, and he is building bubble nests like crazy.

He was just put into a divided tank a few days ago, otherwise he has had no exposure to other fishies. Could it be from flaring too much?

that happened to my boy, blue...he is a loner here in my office though, so i think he caught it on a plastic plant. it was almost completely back to normal in a week!! i just added some salt and a tiny bet of melafix!

There is a sharper plant in the tank, and he does wrap around it sometimes. She added salt, I will tell her to remove the plant. Thanks!
