From Coast2Coast? I've never seen them in there, and wouldn't I need a licence? I don't have lots of money to spend, what do you house them in and can they live outdoors? I lurve them!

Yes C2C you dont need a licence and you can keep them in a vivarium or cage.

No you cant keep them outside they are different from our wild hoggies

How big of a cage/vivarium, how much do they cost, what do they eat, what accesories do I need, are they easy to train "not to spike or bite me"? Heh, shouldn't of told me I can get one Graham!

sorry it took so long to get back!! i keep her in 2(60 quart i think) storage bins. they are connected by a large pvc pipe. she has a running wheel and some cat toys with bells in them to play with. on the other side she has an igloo for ferrets and food and water dishes. oh and a small stuffed cat that usually ends up in her water dish. if you get them as babies and play with them everyday, they should get used to you. we got ours when she was already an adult but shes still fun to play with :D

btw, she eats cat food and i paid 14,000 yen which is about $140 in US dollars. but they are rare in Japan.

That is the cutest thing ever! And the look like they are easy to please (nothing to fancy in the cage). I would be worried that they would try to spike me. How is she around visitors?

Haha, she looks angry in that last pic :p

I have also seen them in Coast 2 Coast, I think they are about £100.00.
Also take a look in the local Yellow Ad paper, I have seen them a couple of times advertised in there.

My friend down South has one and she keeps hers in a guinea pigs cage likes this....

About £50.00 for the cage.
