Thats a male black widow, but he's not poisoness like his female counter-part. When i lived in the south, we used to kill them by the hundreds, didn't want the animals being bitten. Fairly sure they haven't killed people thogh, would put you out of commision for a while thogh.

Actually that is a female, but a juvenile (hence the colored markings on the back) the males being much smaller.
