should i have an air stone in the spawn tank? iv got one in there because i thoght that the new born fry couldn't take air from the surface, its getting in teh way right now so if i dont need it id like to remove it :D

EDIT: Since no one answered my first question :/ , ill post my second one here :)

im currently conditioning both my male an female bettas with indian almond leaves and iv got the spawn tank set up with indian almond leaf in it, when the fry hatch, do i want to slowly dilute the black water out with fresh water, or does that indian almond leaf help the fry in any way? could the fry become dependant on it?

I don't think they'll become dependant on it, but I do believe all bettas should have tannins in their water at all times. So I'd keep using it. I hear Attison betta just introduced a new IAL tonic that you can buy for like 4 dollars a bottle off of the IBC stock shop. I'm going to try it soon.

You don't really need any air at all until the fry are near free swimming. And then just a bubble per second or less if possible. I use straight tubing, no airstone.

ok thank you wuv :D

I like putting the IAL in their tanks because it makes them very happy, but i heard from sombody that if left too long in it, they could become sick wen introduced to clear freshwater. would the new med comeing out be the same way or do they both not do that -_-

thanx again wuv
