Personaly their what i would of called cambodian's
Although the top one look's to have a little butterfly to it too.
The red tails at the back are cambodian, the first pic is a cambodian type girl, not full cambo has the tail has to be one solid colour with a pale body to be true cambo. Not sure if she's butterfly - she might have the gene but she's not a true butterfly IMO
The other girl as said earlier is a dalmation / spotted / spotted marble depending which classification you go on!
Well she is most likely Dalmatian but some people call Dalmatians spotted marble. She probably wont change where as some marbles have the ability to change this is something Modaz explained to me as some marbles with a red loss gene can change colour or appearance as that gene isn't static on the helix , it moves and blocks other alleles causing variations in colour. As well as this young developing marble bettas will appear to change as their patches of colour come through
However as said I expect you have a Dalmatian so most likely she wont change
what do you mean by good?
what do you mean by good?
is it a color that is wanted ?
and usually not ignored? idk, like a HM is good compared to a VT

To be honest its subjective yeah most people want HMs over VTs but loads of people love VT's Dalmatian is more unusual than your solid colour and lots of people like it, but I think the gene is recessive. Whats "desirable " changes all the time recently from white to black to orange.
but dalmatian is certainly more unusual to find in the LFS than a plain red for example
