things are great got about 30 - 40 fry, due to the container size the female wont release too many eggs or it will overcrowd the tank and kill all the fry (just another way in which bettas are amazingly intelligent creatures) which suits me fine coz to be honest i dont like the idea of looking after and tending to 200 fry *shudders*
mum recovered great, literally the next day she was her normal self roaming around her tank, the only damage she had was a small nip in her tail, which has long healed
i will update eventually with new pics ect, they are still only half a cm to a cm long at the moment, iv replaced the plant with a new fresh identical plant and theres alot of dirt at the bottom of the tank, which isnt a problem i will simply syphon it in a month or 2 when the fry are strong enough to not get sucked up the syphon
