what browser? have you changed to a custom theme for the site? probably why, messed up during the modding.

I was just curious, im web developer, or was, for several years and trouble shooting is in my blood

a lot of folks, especially on busier forums comment and bump the sale thread to the top so more people see it, gives you a better chance of it getting sold.

but if it bothers ya all that much i'll make sure i don't comment on any sale ads on this forum

i agree with this, this is the first forum ive ever seen where people FROWN upon FREE bumps to the top. Ive never thought to NOT LOOK at a thread, because there are a couple comments, if anything, i figure it must be good cuz people are talking about it, if no one has replied, maybe the asking price is too high or its not a good piece of equipment.
