South American Bumbleebee Cats Bloating & Dead

i have a 150g planted discus tank. and added 4 SA bumblebees after a few weeks of QT. i left 3 in the QT tank. the ones i moved to the 150 i found all dead this morning. they have swollen bellies, but other than that they look normal. meanwhile the ones in QT seem perfectly fine.
The only differences is that the QT's eat only bloodworms and the 150's ate a mixture of beef/turkey heart & bloodworms. My water parameters are all normal for a planted tank.
This is my second attempt to keep these, i tried about a year ago and ended up the same way. does anyone know what the problem is?

I'm fairly new to tropical myself but I would suggest checking your water quality.


I've looked at the SA Bumblebees and everything i've seen considers them to be pretty fussy.


Try checking your GH, KH, Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia and PH levels and take a look on the web at what they prefer
