Soon To Start A 100 Gallon Planted Tank

yes I think so, unless there is a better fertilizer availible in the US

Here is where you can buy dry ferts, which last longer that liquid's, very cheap. So cheap that the shipping cost more than the ferts do. http://www.bestaquariumregulator.com/ferts.html

so i should buy all the dry ferts instead of liquid. in this case what dry ferts do i buy, all of them i previously posted?

also one more thing to add, i am thinking of changing my thoughts of buying a co2 kit and paintball co2 canister and using the nutrafin co2. would this be or should i stick with the co2 kit and paintball canister?

you will be doing EI dosing (estimative index) see here for a full description: http://www.fishforums.net/content/Plants-a...-Index-Article/

you need:

KNO3 - potassium nitrate
KH2PO4 - pottasium phosphate
CSM + B - Trace Mix

optional:

GH Booster - if you have a gh less than 4d
K2SO4 - potassium sulphate (sulphate of potash), usually enough potaassium is added above, some people add extra
MgSO4 - Magnesium Sulphate, if your water is low on Magnesium.

stick with the pressurized system, you are going to have a high lighting so you need stable CO2 on your tank otherwise you will get algae. Besides, 1 nutrafin cannister does 75l/ 15gallons!

thats what i was thinking, so i am going to stick with pressurized. but just to let you know i was going to use around 8 nutrafin systems. but i see what you are saying so i am going to use a pressurized system.

about actinic light, is it ok to use VHO Actinic lighting, or like someone said earlier that it causes back algae

Now I am to the point of choosing plants. I have decided to go with a carpet plant and have narrowed it down to 2 plants: dwarf hairgrass or dwarf baby tears. I need more plants and am having a hard time deciding what to choose. Do you guys think you can help me?
