Theres something seriously wrong with one of my male bettas, his eyes look like they are popping out and theres white stuff coming out of his eye  , what should i do and whats wrong with him?

That's so scary looking... Keepin em clean means water changes water changes water changes!

heres what bettatalk says:
GENERAL INFO: If you always keep your betta’s water very clean, he will probably never get Popeye. Popeye is a bacterial infection caused by poor water condition (in other words filthy water because you were too darn lazy to get off the couch and attend to your betta!!!). On occasion, it happens to conscientious breeders, too :))..

SYMPTOMS: One or both of Mr. Betta’s eyes start bulging out. In about 2 to 7 days the eye might look so grotesque you will be afraid to look at your betta. Casimodo on a bad day will look more attractive then your betta at that point!! Please do not destroy your betta! Bettas often have full recovery from it and look normal again, as if nothing had happened. During outbreak, betta may be less active, may stop eating.
TREATMENT: popeye is not fatal and often betta will fully recover. On occasion he may lose an eye. But if you catch it right away, he should be fine. Immediately do a full water change. Keep his water very clean, changing it every third day. After putting him in clean water, add the antibiotic Ampicilex (Aquatronics) to his water. This medication comes in capsules. A full capsule treats 10 gal of water. So for a 1/2 gallon of water, open the capsule and take the right proportion of powder and sprinkle on jar water. You may steer gently with a disposable plastic spoon. This is a white powder and will not affect the color of the water. Do not overmedicate! Once Betta’s eyes are back to normal, stop the medication. And keep his water clean from now on darn it!!

thats the thing, I DO do water changes, i clean out his tank every week, and i do water changes everyother day since its a small tank, thats what i dont understand :/

Are you making sure you are conditioning your water, are you just putting strait water out of the sink? Make sure you are Decolorizing your water. Something else to do is as, BKK said, is to let your water age. Just get some empty continers and let the water sit for a 2 weeks or so (correct me if I am wrong BKK), I always do this and have not had anyproblems.

Since he has popeye should i keep on changing the water every other day? or do it everyday? and should i do full water changes or just partial?

Just read and do what the betta talk thing said to.

Don't bother with leaving "the water out for 2 weeks".

PS. I think he/she would be declorinating the water, the betta would be dead within the hour if she did a 100% water change of straight tap water.

that would be wrong ... ive been at Whiskerz house to witness a 100% water change with straight tap water and the bettas have went to work on their bubblenests within the hour

I would do 50% daily water changes. 100% can be quite stressful on the fish, IMO. :/

Always either age your water or use water dechlorinator before adding your betta.

Obviously since something is wrong with the betta, you can't say that doing straight tap water is all well and good and the fish are ok.

Just because you don't notice something wrong within the first few days after a water change doesn't mean the fish hasn't been damaged by the tap water. There could be hidden inside damage slowly happening... it's like smoking cigarettes... we don't always see the effects right away, but beleive me they're there.

Now, it's a different story if the source of tap water comes from a natural spring. I used to live in Brittish Columbia, and our subdivision was "watered" with pure spring water! The town would use my outside tap to check the quality of water for our area :) . They now have built a bottling plant for it and sell it to Canada!!! Wow was I spoiled, and didn't realize it until I had to drink the water here UGH!

i dont know about 2 weeks. i let mine sit for 2 days.

bones-thats just an extremely hardy fish. most fish will die without conditioners but it really depends on your local water. even if a fish has alwyas survived in tap water will most likely succumb to it someday.

well see, i dont have a job and no one will hire me haha, so i cant really go out and buy all the stuff needed except fish food, but i'll keep doin a 50% water change everyday and hopefully it will help
