Something that'll eat fry babies

Wouldn't it just be easier to see if you can take them all back to a store for trade-in credit? Or just seperate the males and females and trade in the fry? Obviously solution #1 is faster and either way you can use the credit to get something more exciting. Or give them away to a newbie who'd enjoy learning to breed livebearers?

All of the above are a tad more 'humane' than getting frozen, flushed or eaten. Yeah, yeah, I know it's nature and stuff gets eaten.

I'd say a bumblebee catfish is a good bet if you can find one. They're really cool looking (in the rare event that you actually see them in your tank!) and they do an excellent job of taking care of fry... and anything else they can fit in their mouths
I mentioned getting the bumblebee catfish as well. I keep mine with neone tetras and he hasn't eaten any of them. Although my neons are full grown at about an inch. I also have some molly fry in the tank that are about 1 inch as well. So as long as it is over 1 inch and you are feeding him well, I don't think he'll eat your other tankmates, except for the fry hehe.

What happens is that the ice crystals start to form in their bodies before they die. These form sharp needles which pierces the fish from the outsde in. Imagine the pain

Fry will survive out of water longer than most people think....hence they will feel the ice crystals form. I had a week old platy fry that survived for 5 hours out of water.

Lots of people advocate using freezing as a euthanasia method.....cruel
ice crystals would not form till way after the fry were dead. I dont know about you but when people freeze to death they dont die from ice crystals. Your body functions slow down till you fall asleep and then die. IM pretty sure freezing is bad just because they come out of the water and are thrown in something freezing. not the actual process.

the neons would eat them for sure
or get anby old livebearer, they will think its soemthing like Brine Shrimp and eat them

Thanks for all your replys. I'm going to go to the LFS tomorrow and see if I can pick up a bumblebee cat fish.

I still like them! I don't want to get rid of them, just need to add some excitement into the tank and cut back on babies.
