I haven't been home lately, so I'm not entirely sure when this started, but I noticed yesterday that my pictus is acting strange. He doesn't swim at the bottom of the tank like he used to, and he actually stops swimming and just sort of hovers for a few moments, then swims on. He also doesn't buzz around the tank as much, and has taken to just sitting still in one spot next to the heater, or hanging out right near the top of the waterline. He's eating okay, but I noticed his spots are faded out, and he just looks different. I don't see any ich on him, and neither of the mollies or the female betta are acting different, just him. It can't be overcrowding, because I just took out a few fish, so now it's just the mollies, betta and the pictus in the thirty gallon. And I haven't changed the temp, it's the same as it always was. I don't understand what's going on, and I posted here because I figured I'd get a better answer than in the emergencies forum.
