Something in my tank that i didnt put there!

i have something extra in my tank,
It looks like a tiny little off round pebble. but has little antena on the front end of it. It puts its antena in when fish brush past it.
It kinda looks like a tic that dogs can get only smaller, slower moving and not as evil looking.
I feed the frog blood worm if thats anything to do with it i dont know.
Please help i have only seen it yesterday on my ornament and today it is slowly working its way across the back of my tank.
actually it has dissapeared now!
Maybe it moves faster than i thought!!!
ps: my zebra dan,s seem to be interested, the swim past and kinda look at it then carry on

is it a snail ? coz sumtimes well most of the time they can come along with plants ?

hi, it is really small about the size of the "go" button at he bottom of this page.
i read the page about the snails.
But how do i know f it is a snail for sure? How can i utelise it and is it a bad thing if it is a snail??

Whether you want snails in your tank or not is up to you. Personally, I have snails in my 29g and am fine with them being there.

If you don't want them, pick out every snail you see as soon as possible. You may prevent them from reproducing if its not too late. Once they've done that, your best bet is occasional population control. There are harsher measures you can use, but I'm not a big fan of chemicals. They have a tendency to make unexpected things to happen to tanks.
