Some of Pictures

Yea I will be adding them tomorrow. They are really doing better than I expected. I thought they would go into shock or something by changing the water but so far so good. No messes yet.

 that cat has it's ears in that funny position when they are mad or determined to do something. I can imgaine the thoughts in it's mind "I'm going to kill you one day...and eat you for dinner..you just wait my friend...juuuuust wait" **evil laugh**

That's a female Red Devil right, since it's pink and not red?

We had a pair (male and female) when I was younger, my parents bought them and put them in our community tank (had a silver dollar, plec, oscar, and some other trivial fish I can't remember..those are the only ones that stand out from that long ago lol...i was like 6 I think).

They got the red devil pair and no sooner then they put them in the tank...the male killed the female, it was so violent. By the time we woke up....the silver dollar was also mangled and dead, and the Oscar (who was 3 times this Hanibal Lector fishes size) was missing one eye and the other one was hanging out of the socket...we had to put him down.

My dad was so mad he flushed the Red Devil down the toilet alive. :(

I dunno anything about them...except they were mean....or did we just get a really pissed off one or something?

OK, i read part of the thread... How do you plan on rescueing them though? You have the tank with all the guppies.. but that didnt really rescue them because now they are just yours instead of the person who owned them first. But you say your keeping them in bowls? Are you gonna get some huge tank for them all or something?

I have two 20 gallon tanks that I put them in. And I going to give the rest to the lfs so I will keep males in one tank and females in another, so I wont have anymore. :D

Hell I thought by getting them from the tank conditions that by its self was a rescue. I would have to ask you if you were to walk up on a tank that looked like this what would you do??I think a water change was a rescue its self.. I dont know I guess I will keep my rescues to my self from now on. Some of you people on here just look for excuses to pick at people. I am sorry if you think this wasnt a good deed, But I can bet you the amout of money that they were fish in that tank. That the guppies are happy campers now. :dunno: :dunno:

Awwwww...don't let peopel who don't know what they are talking about discourage you from sharing your good deeds with the rest of us.

Some of us truly care about things like this. Does my heart good to knwo some people will actually spend their own hard earned money to help an animal in need...regardless of what anyone else think about it.

It just gets under my skin for someone to say something like that after I have been up since the day I got them. And washed and washed on tanks and bowls to I might add also around ten water changes and I still havent got them all done yet. Then have someone ask me how I PLAN ON RESCUING THEM. What a question.

if you look to the top right of the pic where the flash is you can see loads of guppies , you just cant see them very well because of the disgusting stae of the tank, well done on the rescue looks like it was a big job

I love guppys and congratulate you on a great rescue!!

 sorry?

You know guppies are one of the most nutritious feeders you can have? I'm sure your cichlids would love them! :p

Nah just kidding, but I'm really sorry that i offended you. I didnt read your whole
"guppy rescue" topic because it was really big, and i didnt have alot of time left on the computer. So i guess im a bad person for asuming things... Just thought you may have been some fish newbie person that saw all the other people making fish rescues so you wanted to try one yourself, but clearly your not and you know what your doing. So are there any other fish that you have rescued?
