Just thought i'd share some pics of our latest fish , i think all of these pictures were taken by Starry

Silver Dollars

I Love the pic of the peppered Corys & i think they are some of my fav fish atm

Thanks everyone......It takes alot of time for me to get any good pics, i think we totally fill the camera up with pics & maybe only get 1 good shot. My usual approach is to use macro with flash & manual focus & just find a spot in the tank to focus on & wait for the fish to pass by, sometimes takes a while but i think you've gotta sit in front of the tank for a while to let the fish get used to you being there as well.

what makes the color in the fish glow or it just there skin ?

just i saw some fish i thought may have been dyed in my lfs and made me so angry he said no these normal but you could tell they wasnt cus there was the same fishes in tank next to them that wasnt colourd

bright green blue neon orange dots over there bodys how can you spot if its normal or not

just to me your fishes color are whild and ive never seen any thing like this befor

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use a Minolta F200 4 megapixel digi camera, it cost about £320 a couple of months ago.

Its just the silvery specks in the fishies skin, its maybe a little enhanced from Paint Shop Pro touch ups but alot of our fish have these specks that really shine if you're looking at them in the right light

hehe yes he did get them chewed off, either by the girly Gourami that he's been building a bubble nest for....or by the 2 big silver dollars who he seems to like annoying
