i need something different for my tank, some bottom dweller or maybe something like an arrowanna that stays at the top.i don't know  :hmm:  an oddball of some sort, how big do lungfish get?my cichlids are cool but there is nothing like some cool oddballs.any ideas?

oh this is a cichlid tank-1gt 7+"s (not aggressive at all)
and carpente 4+"s (can be mean at times)

Be careful what oddball you get as most get big, BIG enough to clear out your Cichlids in no time lol  :look:

Arrowannas need a very large tank and specialist feeding and a tight fitting coverglass as they jump extremely well :what:

Lungfish can attain an enormous size and are highly efficient predators so i'd avoid these too lol

I'll have a think about this and let you know if i come up with anything suitable m8 ;) :)

At one time I had an Arrowanna. I trained it to eat stick food.
It was in a 90 gallon tank which really did it a disservice. Arrowannas need at minimum a 6ft tank. Also keep in mind they should have a minimum of their total adult body lenght in width to turn around. This really does preclude all but the largest home aquarium to house these monsters.

By the way mine was in with 16" red bellie pacu...they were the best of friends.

i wasn't actually thinking of getting an arrowanna, just wanted something odd that can hang w/the cichlids.i can wait for an arrow, ooooh yeah i have big plans for arrows when i get a house :D
anyway if you guy's do come w/ a few ideas i'd like to hear them all.there rare only 2 cichlids in the tank along w/2 spotted raphaels(will be moving soon) 1 sun cat (proly give to a friend he's like 4yrs old also)2 birchir(p.sen)1 ropefish 1 marble goby and a bgk(bgk stopped growing at apprx 7"s)is that?normal he is over 4yrs old. :hmm:

A Pike Cichlid would go well in there m8 :D

And they are a little unusual too ;) :D

any particular one?i bought a pike a few weeks ago,i believe it was a wild caught(i forget the name)wait here it is Crenicichla cametana,it didn't last long.
but a pike might be the missing pc to my fish puzzle, which ones stay under 10 inches?i'd like to make this the final addition to my 90.
for CICHLIDMASTER(not yelling)i did not forget about placing an order,i just been doing some research coz i'd like whatever i order to be perfect and also want it to be the last addition to the 29.can you send me an updated stock/pricelist?i'll pm you incase you didn't see my post here. :hehe:
