Some Help Iding Please

Have just inherited a Aqua One Regency 80 which I believe is 180 litres. At the moment I have two gold severums and a silver shark that need to find new owners as I've been told they are too big for the tank.

But on moving the tank to my house there were also two Plecos stuck to the wood, and the guy I got everything from didn't know what they were.

I've attached pictures and wondered if you could tell me a) what they were and b) will they be ok in the tank.

Looks like Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps to me. A nice, hardy, somewhat territorial catfish that gets to about 45-50 cm in length. Juveniles will be fine in 180-litre tank, but once the fish gets to 20+ cm in length, you'll find it creates a great deal of mess, and will do better in a bigger tank. At the very least, expect to use some major filtration: I have a subadult (15 cm) Panaque in a 180-litre system, and the tank only stays (tolerably) clean with the use of two external canister filters.

The first one appears to be a P.joselimaianus and the second a P.Gibbiceps, As nmonks says they're big messy fish that will eventually require a large tank upgrade

So basically everything that was being kept in the tank is too big for it, how frustrating is that, looks like a trip with a lot of bags to the LFS!!

Not sure if you have already but it may be worth advertising the fish in the buy/sell section,
The Gold Sevs should easily attract a bidder
