Thought I would share a couple of pictures of my kitten.
His name is Solo, he is a Maine Coon, and is just over five months old.
He already weighs over 3kg - about average for an adult moggy.

I will second it. I love that cat it is beautiful. Just plain beautiful... :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: I want it so bad,, I love it :wub:

Maine Coons are actually very hardy weather wise. They come from Maine in the US, which I believe gets pretty cold in the winter (I'm sure someone from around there can confirm/deny this).

They have a double layered coat, with an insulating short, soft layer underneath a longer one.
They also have massive feet which helps them to move around on snow.

This is very much a "natural" breed, so it is well prepared to cope with the outside world.

- anyway, I'm not that far from the Welsh border, so I don't think your weather is much worse than mine.
