Solo Fish

Since I have learned to trust the folks on this forum more than my lfs, your opinions matter!

I want to maximize the variety of fish in my tank and I would like to get a friendly solo fish, a fish that I don't need to get 3 or more of.

I am not buying it right away, but I would like to start planning...

My tank is 20 Gal.

Right now I have:

2 Swordtail
5 Zebra Danios
3 Albino Corys

So it has to get along with them all!

I already have a betta but I don't want to add it in. I'm a little scared about combining the fish. What if he eats one of them? Or what if he gets nipped?

I have to agree with Gourami... they are terrific "soloists" that have lots of character and beauty.
