Ok thanks. I'll pour one pot of boiling eater every few hours then put the rest as hot as the hot tap will go and hopefully that'll do it. I've changed it 3 times today.

Hi there, the driftwood you showed looks like a spider wood, which looks like mine. The woods really float on water. What I did on mine is I drilled a hole and tied four corners of the base into suctions and it works…

It sunk for me, so I guess it was something else.
