Found our mini microscope so had fun with it...

Cyclops from my cyclops culture. This is one of my live foods that I offer.

And this is one of the sparkling gourami fry, 3 days old. Alive, viewed as it rested on the side of the container.

They got a funny little underbite haha

APPARENTLY MY KUBOTAI RASBORAS SPAWNED!

I found a surprise fry in my sparkler fry container. Must have been eggs in the moss I took from the parent tank.

Only fish in that tank are the sparkling gourami, kubotai rasboras, and corydoras pygmaeus... and its definitely NOT cory fry.

It's near invisible!

And a sparkler fry today.

Since Mid-March, here is the list of fish that have spawned or had babies and the results. None of these were purposely bred either. All community spawnings.

Dwarf Gourami--no survivors, suspected genetic issues.

Platy x2, fry still being housed and cared for. Should be ready for homes soon.

Corydoras Trilineatus x3. 1st batch only 1 fry. 2nd batch 98 eggs, 67 hatched, 31 still around. 3rd batch all eggs eaten.

Cherry Barbs--eggs eaten.

Neon Tetras--eggs eaten.

Sparkling Gourami x3, 1st batch saved. Others eaten.

Kubotai rasboras--surprise fry found in transferred moss

And the sparkler container. Added a new piece of Indian almond leaf and an alder cone. If you look close on the wall just to the left of the airline hose, you can see the single kubotai fry.

But my sparklers are beating the out of each other. My male is beginning to attack the cories in the same tank too

The kubotai rasbora baby is free swimming today.

I also placed an order for some brine shrimp eggs. Gonna hatch some up to add in to my feeding regime for these tiny guys.

He is looking really good speaking of fry I counted 12 platy fry in my OT tank today, that is more than I though she had. I am going to let them stay in there until they get bigger. Moving the adults to my LOTR castle tank this weekend.
