I had been trying to get endlers for ages, but my local pet shops never get them in, the online fish shop I use was always sold out, and the Australian forum I frequent nobody every wanted to post thier fish for sale :-( . But finally a nice member on one of the Aussie sites offered me 30 odd fry that he would post from New South Wales up to Central QLD.
Any way I am so glad to see the little endlers are finally starting to show their true colours :D :yahoo: .

Since I seem to have both the black lined and tiger endlers I am looking at splitting the two types of males into seperate tanks and split the females between the two tanks.

Where are you from? I'd love to trade guppies with you. I might have guppy endlers but I don't know till they get their colors.

I'll say they are getting pretty, especially since when they arrived they where tiny showing no colour at all and looking like 2week old guppy fry. I can't wait to see them in thier fullly mature colour :hyper: .

Since they are basically a guppy I think they should breed well (well our fancy guppies have never missed a beat  ), but the bonus of endlers is that they are a much smaller fish and the females have smaller numbers of babies than fancy guppies.
A lot of people do cross these guys with guppies, but I will be keeping mine pure, they where too hard to get hold of to start messing up their bloodlines.

Nice looking endlers that you have there Baccus. It looks like they made that trip OK and have settled into your tank. That is quite a trip in the middle of winter.

I'll say it was an epic journey for the tiny little fry and in winter with no heat pack :hyper: , just bred tough I guess :good: . One of the males is starting to develop quite a bit of fluro pink while the other males mostly have fluro orange so far.
