BTW I have about 60 pounds of sand in my 37g (same footprint as a 29g) and it's about 3 inches in most places.

I priced it out and it's a little bit cheaper at drfostersmith.com . No to mention they only sell one brand of sand and there was no 'add to cart' button for the thermometer I wanted.
