i hear that the snakelocks anemone (anemonia viridis) can be kept in brackish waters.
anyone have experience with this anemone or know how low of a salinity it can tolerate?

Ah, what kind of lighting do you have first off. They need good lighting to do well. We dont recomend keeping them even in salt water. As cool as they are they dont do well in captivity. Read this artical then decide if you want one.
i assume you are talking about anemones in general not the one i was asking about.

i was probably not going to get one as i wouldnt be able to keep any of the fish that i wanted.

does anyone have any experience with these anemones in brackish?

According to one book at Barnes & Noble there are two types of anemones that are fitting for a brackish set-up. I wrote their names down in my notebook, but who knows where I put that. So I'll stop by B&N to look it up again and let you know what it says.

My question is...where would you find it? I live by a lagoon and I've never seen anemones in it. Hmmm...I'm interested too.
