Snakeheads

On a related note, if anyone in the Suffolk (UK) area is interested in two 14 inch Red Snakeheads, there are two in excellent condition at Seapets in Ipswich.

Absolutely beautiful fish.

Hey guys, long time no see.

In my experience, snakeheads are fine with other fish as long as two conditions are met.

the snakehead has to be smaller than its mates.
its mates must not be so aggressive as to kill it.

Dwarf snakies tend to do well with bichirs, and in my experience, slant-nosed gars.

Oh, and one very very important thing. ensure that the top of the aquarium is *completely* sealed. I have lost precious snakies that way, they get startled and jump out.

P.T.
