lately, when i go to a certain lfs... they have these crazy things called snakeheads..

theyre about 5-6 inches long... very scary looking, but cool..

im guessing they will grow big.. but how big i am wondering.. and what would minimum tank size be..

they were by themselves, and im guessing they are aggressive...

$15 each.. i thought they were cool... ive been looking for an interesting killer fish, but right now the biggest tank i have to spare is a 20g...

im guessing a snakehead will get too big for a 20g, but i thought id ask and see if anyone knows much about them...

if not a snakehead, any other ideas of an interesting killer i can keep in a 20g?

Which species of snakehead are they? There are several hundred species of snakehead some of which grow to 4 feet plus while others stay at around 8 inches. One of the smaller "dwarf" snakehead species such as Channa gachua or Channa bleheri could stay in a 20g for life providing it was the only fish.
