ok so boiling wont kill the eggs i can honestly guarentee that leaving the tank dry as a bone for a month or so will kill the eggs. if you ant to go with bleach then bleach it is but i pesonally recomend leaving the tank dry.

Hi Nik

IMO clown loaches are your best bet. I have had cases that they eat new swimming fry, but nothing much over two weeks old.
I have previously had snail problems, (they make good food if crushed). When I had had enough of them, in went some of my clowns. A few weeks later, (you have to wait for any eggs to hatch out) no more snails. And they never came back.

i used to know a joke about a snail in a race car that had an s on the side of it... i was juat thinking of food when i put a small morcell of bacon (cooked) into the tank to see if any of the inhabitants made anything out of it. well i can tell you the crabs moved in straight away it was only a little bit but they made it look a totally different shape.

How about just crushing the snails and feeding it to your fish. I crushed a snail once and my black widows couldn't get enough of it.
