My tank been running for two weeks on a fishless cycling. I got home today and found three tiny snails. As nice as they are, I know they breed like crazy and take over your tank. So I picked them out. My tank has high nitrite at the moment, so will this kill then off?

do you have live plants? where could they have come from then? i would assume that if you are putting in enough ammonia, they should not be alive right now

Ah ah, they have a constany food supply with no competitors - get rid of them before you have a tank load of them. Just carry on picking them out whe you see 'em.
