Anyone know of a snail that (1) won't reproduce on its own; i.e. non-hermaphrodite, and (2) won't be attacked by a betta? I know apple snails need partners to reproduce, but I think bettas like them for lunch.

I am no snail expert, but I believe all types are hermaphroditic. The only way to keep them from reproducing for sure is to only have one.
