hi i have a problem with loads and loads of little snails and their pesky eggs,was wondering are there bigger snails which will eat these annoying little ones.i dont really want to add any chemicals and ive no more room in my tanks for any loaches of any kind.plz can sumone give me sum help plz,thanks in advance

hi thanks,do u know anywhere that sells these snails and are they expensive and do they breed like the little ones.sorry to ask silly questions but i just want rid of these little pests

I got mine from eBay (about £1.20 per snail) and while they do breed (well... mine are!!) they are nowhere near as prolific in numbers of ickle ones as the pest snails.

Seriously though, Assassins do a great job of getting rid of pest snails - and they are very pretty creatures too!!

I'll second that, I had some trumpet snails come in with some of my plants and as they are born ready to lay eggs they multiplied so fast, I bought one assasin snail and the numbers have dropped so fast, only got a few left now
