Doesn't look like a MTS, nor would anyone really describe MTS as "big".

Asolene spixi dig holes, maybe that's it, though they aren't exactly big either.

Looks like an apple snail to me..

I agree

Apple snails do bury themselves sometimes. I used to have a few that bury themselves next to some big pebbles so that they are camouflaged. Very funny.

That sure as hell isent a MTS.
How big is it? My guess would be Canas apple snail, but it is an apple snail of some sort.

hi there

looks to me like a Pomacea canaliculata (does it eat aquarium plants , canas do brigs dont)

alot of the snail spiecies like to dig in the substrate

The size of these snails varies from 40 to 60 mm wide and 45 to 75 mm high depending on the conditions

these are one of the bigger apple snail spicies

sharon

its about the same size as a golf ball, the antenners are about 2.5 inches long ,hope that helps

Yeh, id say Canas. Take a small perishible plant from another tank and put it in. If its gone in a few hours, uve got a Canas. If it grows, you have a Brig.

its more like the first pic, also when i put it in my other tank with a differn't plant (dont know what kind) it started eating it straight away.
