Snail Babys(Mystery Snail Babys) Turn To Nerite Snails?

I got one assassin snail to help with my pond snail issue but he's really not very effective. I used to have a molly that was eating some of the eggs, but I had to rehome her because of my soft water and now the population is getting out of control. I find that the only thing keeping the tank from becoming a mass of snails is manually removing them when they swarm a piece of food on a little plate. Did you end up getting an assassin snail?

I think that depends on how many pond snails you have.  An assassin will only eat so much!
 
I used to have pond snails in all my tanks.  Now there are none.  The assassins do work but will take their time.

yea, i got 2 assassin snails as the population had gone from just Pond snails to MTS, ugh, i need to start checking the plants i get from my LFS from now on, but there are a atleast 10 empty snail shells thanks to my assassins, kinda glad i got them as i needed to get my GH up for my blackSkirts

As it seems the GH (which has now increased) has helped make there enlarged bellys shrink
