Smells like cilantro

Why would a tank (cycled and in normal parameters) smell like cilantro?

Nope. It's the ONE tank out of nine that has "fake" plants in it.
 
Weird suggestion, but this is what we discovered on the Betta forum when someone mentioned their tank smelled like garlic... check the fish food lable. Turns out the Hikari betta pellets she was feeding have garlic in them! :lol:

Are you insunuating that some fish food might contain spices (coriander in this case) in them to bring out the taste of the core ingredients?

Well, Cilantro would be more like vegetable matter than a spice. Maybe its good for the fishies?? I sure as heck like it fresh in some salsa... mmmmmm !
