Smaragdina Babies!

So I was doing the daily feeding for the bettas. . .

Checking in on them and found that I have fries!!! OMG!! I was freaking out. . . .

I noticed that the male hadn't been eating for a couple days. . . checked his nest and everything looked normal except black specs - but didn't think anything of it.

And then this morning I saw this:

Now I'll admit I'm a complete newbie at this - so I doubt a many will survive as I didn't even know they were there. :/

But we all have newbie mistake eh! :look:

So I'm off to get fry food and hatch like crzy!!!

THANKS WUV!!!

Congratulations

I had a similar with guppies and my sister's pet hamster several years ago.

Thanks guys!!

It's really great to have a good support team. . . I feel the

Question - when did you start feeding them worms?? And how do you make sure they eat them?? I'm a little worried because well not like adults they don't come to the food. . . they just swim around happily w/o a care in the world.

I think I've got 80+ with the new spawn. . . .

I'm thinking of setting up (2) 2.5 for June and Ward - no more babies ;) Putting the tanks next to each other of course think of it as seperate beds but in the same room

Don't worry each fry will be named The Beav and Wally. . . maybe some Eddie depending on their temperment

Good for you chica! I can tell there's a TV Land viewer among us. That was back in the day when they didn't allow doublebeds on TV....even Ricky and Lucy slept in twin beds and they had a baby! How did that happen?
