I was looking in my tank last night and saw a ton of small/tiny white bugs/things on my tank glass is this normal? I think I read once that there are little bugs in the tank at all times..

Are they small white worms about this size - ? Sounds like planaria ( spelling ) .They are harmless, but unsightly, and are usually caused by overfeeding.Do a gravel vac and water change and cut down on your feeding.

Like said they are just unsightly, I don't bother with them and just cut down on the feedings and do my normal maintenance. Te fish eat them and enjoy them so I don't really bother trying to get them out. If it's too much of a ghastly sight you could do all that was suggested and purge it a bit by wiping the inside of the glass to get them off with a chemical free media.
