Small white bugs in Betta tank.

They are very small, white/clear, and surf the glass and swim in the water column.

Possibly Copepods, which are tiny aquatic crustaceans.

Think they are pretty harmless and your Betta might even snack on them if they are Copepods.

I actually think they are tiny limpets. After a little research, it seems they are harmless, if kept in small numbers.

Hopefully their population doesn’t escalate.

As far as I know, freshwater limpets don't swim around in the water column...and if they were such creatures, then they create no more of a problem than other snails/molluscs.

Freshwater limpets have a small flat shell on their back. How do these things move about?

They look like little white snails, and move as such.

I have similar creatures in my 5G betta tank. Not sure what they are but they don't seem to cause any harm and my betta snacks on them I've noticed.
