Small Update

I will disagree with Barney; I believe that putting the clean up crew in and leaving it will likely result in a larger stress on the bioload of the tank than putting fish in before the clean up crew since with just a CUC there will almost certainly be further losses to the bacterial population.

I always go fish before CUC because I want my fish to have less exposure to ammonia and nitrite.

Sorry I wasnt very clear. I would agree that you can start adding fish as well to keep a bioload in the tank and stop the biological filtration from dropping off to much (a CUC will not add any noticeable bioload to a tank).

Personally I like to leave it for a couple of days once ammoina and nitrite hit zero to make sure it stays there. When I said add CUC slowly I didnt mean only add CUC (which wasnt clear at all). I just meant dont add all your CUC in one go as to begin with there most likely wont be enough to sustain them.
