It's still fresh water - it is going to hold a few Lake Tanganyika shell dwellers.

I have always fancied a shell dwelling tank. Looking forward to seeing the fish. Thanks again for the plants.

Went to the Post Office at lunch time but the queue was round the block. I'm going to sneak out and give it another try shortly.

The shells came from Fortum & Mason (seriously!). All of the LFS I tried din;t have any suitable shells, so I had a look around the West End for a French delicatessen which might have some but no joy. I happened to be near Piccadilly so I had a look in F&M and they had a pack of 18 ex-large snails with the shells separate for £7.95 - I just need to find someone who wants the snails (yuk). Got some really nice smoked stilton whilst I was in there as well.

I'll be in touch as soon as I have all my lot together. If there's not much leftover, I could wait until there are some off shoots. Plants seem to like me.
