I believe one of my guppies pooped out this worm. It is the tiny dark pink worm towards the corner of the tank. Can someone identify what it is? It was moving slowly on the substrate when I noticed it. Thank you!
It's hard to see...it it a stringy pink/red worm? Then it's probably camallanus worms. You need to get a dewormer, one for livestock will work. I (stupidity) added a swordtail pair to my pangio tank and the male had them. I did three rounds (over 3 weeks) of medication and deep cleaning/ WC as the meds kills the adults but not the eggs/larva (hence the deep cleaning). I did loose 3 pangio loaches but not sure it was the meds or they were only a week new to the tank so the stress plus meds may have done it.
I think you can find it as a powder dewormer for dogs at your pet store, just a little harder to dose. I used 2.5 ml of the liquid per 20 gallons. It's hard to overdose.
