I love the look of these guys but only have a 3ft hoping to up to a 4ft tank so I think that a common would be far too large is there a small version that would be happy in the size of tank I have got?

Also it would be good if it didn't do to much damage in a planted tank.

I'll have some of the L183 White seam plecs for sale soon
(Although it is actually quite likely that they are L180s or L100s and not the L183 they were sold as)

Thanks. That lik should be pinned. How much are you asking for for your and will you ship?

I actually ment your L183s. Sadly though I am too far to collect from you so the search continues.

 That'll teach me not to read my last post :D

I've just been looking for a more positive ID and I'm pretty sure that they are L100/L180 "Black Xingu Ancistrus" the fry will let me know in a couple of weeks - if they have the stunning white seams I'll be very happy :)

Anyway - I will probably be willing to ship them as the weather will be warmer by the time they are ready.
They are apparently very resilient when it come to shipping :)

I'll keep you upto date as they grow :)

Yeah, keep me updated and I hope they turn out to be what you hope they are.

Also what do you think the maximum size to what I could keep in my tank is 4, 5 inchs?
I know that it will depend on the activity and such but a rough guide would be good.
