small peacefull cory?

yeah, pandas have terrible reputations for not being hardy... i'm glad some of you have had luck with them; it makes me feel reassured.

my dad takes horrible care of his 5 gallon tank and he's had two juhlii (sp?) corys in there for at least a year. there were 3 and he lost one about 6 months ago, but that's the only cory fatality (apparently his tank is guaranteed to give guppies dropsy).

If you want a really small one, why not look for C. habrosus, or dwarf cories? If you're near a Big Al's, I know they carry them.. I got mine at a great deal, 3 cories for $5!

Yup dwarf cories are probably the way to go, but panda cories are quite nice too

I have pandas as well actually, but I find that the dwarfs are much better for smaller tanks.

Though my panda cory does that ridiculously cute wiggle across the front glass..
