Thanks Ben, the test of my skills is upon us!! I found a tank connector today and have completed the overflow completely. Just waiting for my light now. I did test it and preliminary tests show we do have a working article!!!! I am really pleased with it and have just run the final bead of silicon on the outside. It is water tight but I just wanted to make sure, you can never be too careful!! Picture will follow soon

Woo hoo today I got my halide pendant; classica 150W with LEDs!!! I can start building a stand for it and then the lights can be switched. The sump and over flow will be done at a later date as I am waiting for some chaetomorpha and don't want to change too many parameters at once. If I mess with both flow and lighting I am asking for trouble. I just realised the other day the enormous amount of growth that has occured over the last year in the tank. It will be 1 year exactly on the 23rd January and my LPS have been quite a shock; the hammer has increased the number of polyps by three times ( started at 4 polyps, lost one in the transition and now I have 12 polyps which are in three parts of four thanks to the urchin) and the frogspawn as increased by seven (started with two polyps lost one in transit again and now have 7-8 polyps). The frogspawn has been my biggest success; originally measured about 4-5 inches fully expanded now it is 12" when fully out. I have most difficulty with soft corals Zoas, GSP etc funny that as these are generally what are recommended to beginners ah well never mind still looks lovely and really happy with it.

Pictures when I get 5 minutes to build the stand and change the lighting
