thought i'd put a pic up of my new plant, cladophora aegagropila, it's realy unusual , it's an algae plant,

kewl, has it grown any yet ? ...1 thing i was wondering about that plant, if it dont have roots, wont it just end up stuck to the filter intake ? lol

lol grown give it chance stickle its only been in my tank a few days,
no it's not like the java thats easily pulled out, it's very compact and you don't get pieces coming away, seen the fish have a nibble but ooo luckily they don't like it so they leave it alone, sheesh thank goodness, i would'nt mind getting a couple more when lfs has some more in,

just hope he gets some more in, i paid £9.99 for a young plant not long ago,

I've seen those before, didn't know what they were though! Any good at controlling algae, got a problem in my juwel upstairs. Algae and Green water (on surface, anyway). Any Ideas?

Do u have an internal or external filter on it ? If u've got an extenal then i know how u can use it to get rid of the surface alge

hi gibbo. don't no if they control algae, theres a post on the green water algae some were in how does your garden grow, i'd look it up only for some reason i've a bad head hehe
