Sliver Shark Care

i have recently aquired a large silver shark, in has only been in the tank a few days but when ever food is added (flake or blood worm) the shark just swims around not looking very interstested. is this simply because the fish is getting used to the tank or is there another problem at hand?

was it eating flakes before? I feed my sharks what they were fed at the store, sinking tablets.
