Slimy Clearish Substance

I had exactly the same problem a month after setting up a new tank. All I did was remove what I could during water changes. It went away after about a week. There were no ill effects on my fish.

Sarah, It's just coming with the "new tank syndrome" based on what you're saying and pics, its not harmful and will go away.
