I'm going for a heavy (but well trimmed), Elocharis type lawn. I was fed up with trying to get the HC to grow into the corners. This will hopefully end up more of a nature style aquarium. There is a lot of growing to do at the back and the front.

Comment and critiques welcome.

Great looking tank mate! :good: Whats the moss on the wood? Don't you get loads of it floating in to your filter?

#41#### that Co2 and Fert business seems complicated :p

Looking good Ian, I love the wood placement, great choice of hard scape.

Thanks mate, I was impressed with the TGM blue stone. Makes a nice different to the normal stuff.

Thanks Scott, it's Java moss and if its held on well enough, it shouldn't float away. I have just used cotton. :good:

Can't believe you dismantled your other scape :(, looking good tho got to be honest I prefer the HC but still looking good.

Cool, good idea :). Well seeing as you have all this high-tec stuff that grows plants at 100mph, you will have to let me know when you have some moss you want rid of. I want to do the same in my tank when I've got my wood :p.

Those blue stone realy do catch the eye! :good:

woah cant believe you rescaped but im sure youll make this look amazing too

cheers Creg, the previous scape wasn't doing anything for me and i got bored very easy of it. It grew in and then there wasn't much for me to do with it.

Wow last scape looked great but so does this and it may just be me but this seems to me like it has more potential :hyper:

thanks very much bae, i'm glad you can see that it needs to grow in, especially at the back. It actually looks a lot better in real life. It's quite hard to photograph a corner tank.

Looking good Ian. That last scape didn't last long

I have a bit of eleocharis for sale if you're feeling impatient ;)

should look fantastic when its grown in.

Never owned a corner tank so wouldn't know but I guess you have multiple focus points as such in as it's like 180degrees view on the plants and decor

It does remind me of the Tim Burton film's scenery. :good:

yeah, I'm wondering what you did with the HC too? I don't think you gave it enough time. Especially considering that the corners may not have the same light intensity or distribution of nutrients.

That being said, the new scape is very nice.

Thank you Si! The last one was a bit boring!lol

Where's all your HC going now then?

It was rolled up and put in the bin. It would have been really difficult to plant as it was.

That being said, the new scape is very nice.

Thanks Liz, it should look better when the back has grown :good:

As above, i got bored of it. When you're sat looking at it for 2 months, and thinking, 'that could look better'. I ripped it down.
