Skimmer

i have an orca 450 nano tank and the stock skimmer was rubbish so changed it for the wg 310 skimmer well i have had two of these in 1yr and the were both cr*p. has anyone tried to fit the v2 skim 120 in this nano tank bearing in mind i still need the lid to fit

what was crap about the wg310?

I've hadmine about three months and I think it is spot on?

well when you have had two within 1yr and has not skimmed once and starts and stops when it pleases i think what a waste of money. so only fit for the bin. perhaps im just unlucky

great news the skimmer has finaly started to skim perhaps they need a year to bed in???

i have a resun skimmer
on the micro reef and
that's on and off some time
it skims sometimes it don't
its been up and running
over a month now

when i start up my new tank i think i will have to buy a new skimmer so think i will need some info from you guys on the best on to get.....will be for a 96ltr tank

Well, always buy something for a tank that is bigger, I expect if you are like the rest of us, you will soon upgrade and then at least you have a skimmer already, so with that thought in mind, maybe the mce 300
