the real demensions are 72 L x 14 w x 18 H so what ever that is in gallons, I reckon its more than 50 gal. I have personally seen pairs of oscars living happily in the same size tanks all you need is good filtration and water movment with plenty of water changes.

the volume of air is 297.49 Liters/78.59 US gal
the volume of water would depend on the displacement of substrate, decor and fish

I would say 70gal for the purpose of meds, stocking etc (A 1" layer of sand will displace 4 gallons)

WOW, that is gorgeous. Love the oscars and eel. Sand can be quite a hassle with oscars, but you might get lucky. They like to constantly dig.
