Site Running Slowly

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the site currently. In particular with the pages loading up much slower than they did before the site went down over the weekend. I'm also getting a message at the bottom of the screen, (in the taskbar) saying "Done, but with errors on page".

Tonight is the first night since the weekend that I have some speed on the system and I do not get that message at the bottom of the screen, (however not as fast as "normal")

I do notice another strange thing though is that when you click on the "member name" section below the forum which normally tells you what everybody on site is currently watching,...... it appears that everybody is currently viewing the "Board index".... (all 137 members currently on board).... That is not right.

down load it im using it on vista really easy. and through a wireless network so in theory it should be slower

Mine seems to be back to normal. Definitely nothing like the last few days where you could take a nap (a long one at that) between pages loading.

Also, if you click the "Last Click" link to sort the members, it shows that most are on the board index but some are reading or printing threads, etc. I think the norm is that over half the people on the site are on the board index at any one time

firefox is also quicker than IE

google chrome is supposed to be but i have never tried it.

Personally, I hate IE but I'm a Realtor and our MLS only supports IE so I'm stuck using it most of the time. I never used anything but Netscape (an ancient relic now) up until I was forced to IE.

you can still find Netscape but the newer versions aren't much better than IE. I sometimes use an old version of Netscape (from 10yrs ago) and it works fine most of the time, but Win XP tries to take it over and upset me.
